 Photograph courtesy of Peter Freeman/www.capture27.com NEW for 2013: in addition to age group classification, athletes are now able to choose either the Clydesdale (Male) or Athena (Female) Weight Class Division. The minimum weight is 220 pounds for men and 165 pounds for women, monitored by the event organizer. The weight class age categories for men and women is 39 years of age and under and 40 years of age and over. Participants are not eligible to compete in a weight class division and in an age group division at the same event.
2013 Registration Fees: TRI AROOSTOOK Sprint Triathlon: $60* TRI AROOSTOOK Relay Team (ages 15+): $85* *Participants will receive a fully sanctioned USAT triathlon event, accurate timing, an athletic t-shirt, a safe race course staffed with volunteers, aid and hydration stations, a commemorative finishers medal, age group awards, event photography, and an atmosphere that will rival, if not beat, any race. *Participants who are not 2013 USA Triathlon (USAT) members must buy a $12 one-day USAT membership with cash or check payable to USAT at race packet pickup day on June 28th. Participants who are 2013 USAT members must present their USAT membership card at race packet pickup on June 28th. *All schedules, times, and race details are subject to change. Watch www.triaroostook.com for the latest updates. TRI AROOTSOOK reserves the right to modify the course, including shortening or lengthening the triathlon segments. Refunds will not be provided. All entries for individual participants are non-transferable. On or before May 20 if an individual or team decides not to participate, the entry fee is refundable. After May 20 if an individual or team decides not to participate, the entry fee is nonrefundable. There will be no triathlon rain date. All roads are open to traffic.
